About Performance Golf Solutions owner Alan Smith

I have been teaching Pilates and golf fitness in Charlotte, North Carolina for the past 6 years and in Columbia, South Carolina since March, 2007. Performance Golf Solutions is an outgrowth of golfer’s experiencing great results from my Pilates classes in Charlotte, NC. I did extensive research into the biomechanics of golf and quickly realized that everything that Pilates is known for is exactly what golfer’s need to improve their bodies to play better and reduce injuries. I obtained certification through Pilates for Golf Coach ™ and the Titleist Performance Institute where my research was confirmed by those already in the industry and where I gathered even more application experience as it relates to golf fitness.
